Ever since the COVID-19 health crisis began, our entire way of life has been upturned. The routine tasks we do daily like going to work, eating out, and hanging out with friends and family are now considered threatening and dangerous.
We can’t go out without wearing masks and we are constantly reminded to keep a distance from other people.
Add to that, we are plunged in the uncertainty that we might get infected without us knowing; worst, that we might unknowingly infect others.
The only real defense we have against the virus (until a vaccine or cure is developed) is to ensure we are following healthy measures and keeping our body and mind as healthy as possible.
Doing so would be staying active even when stuck at home, focusing on the positive, and ensuring our immune system is at its peak.
On that last part, health experts recommend that we put extra effort into ensuring we are eating foods the bolster our immunity.
There are a ton of ingredients we can find in our local grocery that does this.
Ingredients like garlic, ginger, lemon, and coconut milk are all known to support our immune system. When these ingredients are added to a dish, like soup, not only makes it more nutritious but also quite tasty.
Below are three examples of soups that have these ingredients and keep our immune system strong and healthy.

The key to making the perfect tomato bisque is making sure the consistency is smooth and properly thickened.
There are a lot of ways you can do this. Some swear by using flour while others prefer to use rice to thicken the soup.
In fact, the most complicated part of this recipe is chopping the veggies. The rest of the process is going to go smoothly afterward.
